Tony Skinn has had quite a busy week. On Tuesday, he went to visit Caden Diggs in Maryland. Then, on Thursday, he went to the Atlanta area and visited Josh Hill and Braedan Lue.
There’s a couple scholarship spots open for 2024 players, and Skinn is going to get his guys.
Caden Diggs
Skinn crossed the Potomac to go see Caden Diggs in Maryland on Tuesday. Diggs is a 6’7 wing out of Waldorf, Maryland, and is currently attending Bullis School in Potomac.
NEWS: Coach Skinn is expected to make the short trip over to Bullis School today to visit w/ 4⭐️ Wing Caden Diggs. The 6’7 talent is a top priority for the staff and has the ability to be a difference maker for the Patriots in the A10.@cayy4k @BullisAthletics @NewWorldAAU

Diggs plays for New World AAU, an Adidas SSB program that gave him plenty of national publicity.
The Maryland native is the 102nd ranked player in the class of 2024 per 247Sports Composite with a rating of .9579, making him a four-star prospect. He is currently the number one ranked player in the entire state of Maryland.
Diggs currently holds offers from Mason, NJIT, Xavier, Fordham, George Washington, South Florida, Fairfield, Siena, Richmond, Marquette, Eastern Tennessee State, American, St. Joseph’s, Iowa, Seton Hall, Oklahoma State, and East Carolina.
Over the summer, Diggs cut his list to six schools. Unfortunately, Mason was not in his final six. Iowa seemed like the program to beat, but recently, he announced that his recruitment was 100% open.
With Diggs reopening his recruitment, expect George Mason to try to get back involved here. Staff saw him play a lot this summer with New World. https://t.co/2onjEnlnVK

Caden Diggs is one heck of an athlete. When he dunks, his head is nearly at the rim. He takes off from farther than you would expect. Along with that, he can easily dunk while having no momentum, and is great at timing rim-rocking putback dunks.
When Diggs isn’t jumping over everyone, he’s hitting jumpers from the mid-range or three. He is very comfortable from both.
On the defensive end of the ball, the 6’7 wing uses his size to clog passing lanes. He’s aggressive and can take a pass the other way like an NFL cornerback. In the paint, Caden uses his athleticism, size, and defensive instincts to shut down guards and smaller wings.
Skinn has spoken about getting talent from the DMV, Diggs could be his first high schooler from the area. That would be a good first get.
Josh Hill
Skinn went down to the Atlanta area to visit 2024 prospect Josh Hill. Hill is a 6’11 forward out of Marietta, Georgia, and is currently attending Wheeler High School, a public school with a history of producing professional talent across many sports.

The Wheeler attendee is the 159th ranked player in the class of 2024 per 247Sports Composite with a rating of 0.9225, a three-star prospect.
He currently holds offers from Mason, Seton Hall, Kansas State, Georgia, Alabama, Texas State, Radford, Arizona State, California, Loyola Maryland, Mercer, Marquette, Charleston, Xavier, Nicholls State, Arkansas State, FIU, DePaul, Georgia State, and New Mexico State.

Over the summer, Hill played for Garner Road, an Adidas 3SSB team based in Raleigh.
Josh Hill is a very unique player. His shot from outside is much better than you would expect from a 6’11 guy. Along with his shot, his ball handling is what you would expect from a 6’7 wing. If he gets the ball on the perimeter with a forward guarding him, his opponent is going to have a tough time staying in front of him while also not letting him get an open three.
On the other end of the court, Hill uses his length to guard the paint. After he forces a miss, he can jump sky high to get the rebound. When he isn’t in the paint, Hill uses his foot speed to hold his own against guards and wings on the perimeter.
Josh is primarily a forward, but his skillset likely allows him to play a big wing position if he is on a forward-heavy team. His combination of size, skill, and athleticism would be awesome in the A-10.
Braedan Lue
While Skinn was in Atlanta, he stopped by to visit Braedan Lue, a 2024 forward out of Douglasville, Georgia. Lue is an athletic, versatile 6’8 forward with wing flexibility.
When Braedan isn’t playing for Alexander High School, he’s playing for Team Huncho, an Atlanta-based 3SSB team.
The well-rounded prospect holds offers from Mason, Western Carolina, North Carolina A&T, Jacksonville State, Missouri State, Charleston, Chattanooga, South Florida, Bradley, Kennesaw State, Central Florida, Georgia State, Hampton, Louisiana Tech, California, FIU, Nicholls State, Penn State, Texas A&M Commerce, Arkansas State, UT-Arlington, Georgia Southern, and Mercer.

Lewis Walker
In other news, Mason 2024 priority Lewis Walker is on an official visit to San Jose State this weekend. Walker is a 6’6 forward that is extremely efficient and moves well with the ball for his size.
