After a historic season with George Mason and becoming the leading rebounding guard in college basketball, Marquise Moore as been selected to take part in the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament.

It is an event that invites graduating seniors to showcase their talents in front of representatives from every NBA team. Held in Portsmouth, Virginia for over 60 years, they have been witnesses to countless NBA Hall-of-Famers that have come through this event. They include John Stockton, Dennis Rodman, Tim Hardaway, and Scottie Pippen.

Throughout the year, it has been confirmed that the Brooklyn Nets were a team scouting the rebounding guard. This will be a chance for Moore to truly display his all-around basketball skills to the entire league.

When the roster was initially released on Tuesday, Moore was not one the 64 seniors on the Portsmouth roster.

Due to some players declining the invite, including Atlantic 10 Player of the Year, T.J. Cline due to injury, it opened up the door for Moore.
