Breaking news – Nicolas Pavrette has chosen to depart the program to pursue a professional career overseas.

This season, his role was being the third big man, an important depth piece. He did not receive playing time in the season opener vs Monmouth, and played 3 and 4 minutes against St. Thomas (FL) and West Virginia. This leaves Mason’s big rotation a bit thin due to Jalen Haynes not being eligible as of now.
Nico likely would have competed with Malik Henry (if he used his COVID year) for the starting center position during his senior season.
Mason will be playing Austin Peay tonight without him.
Good luck in your future endeavors, Nico.
