Hey! It’s been a minute since I last wrote one of these! I hope you’ll forgive the break, given all that’s been going on in the world, I imagine you understand.
But on with the good news! Losing streak snapped! After consecutive loses to Dayton, VCU and Richmond, the Patriots go back in the win column to get back to .500 overall this season.
Mason FINALLY got off to a good start from the field, and took advantage of La Salle’s slow start.

Josh Oduro was EATING tonight! He got it going early on and kept it up throughout the night!
Big boy Josh Oduro! Mason leading 18-5!

Mason’s defense was stellar, especially in the first half. The Explorers shot just 22% in the first 20 minutes, going 10/31 from the floor. Mason on the other hand shot 50%, going 15/27.
8 minutes left in the half, and La Salle is just 3/17 from the floor.
Mason is all over the Explorers, up 24-7.

Nice to see George Mason FINALLY win a game comfortably. It’s so hard to understand the A-10, as this very La Salle team just knocked off Dayton like a week ago. Now Mason manhandled them tonight.
We’ll see pretty soon if the Patriots can take the positive momentum from this one, as they travel to face Rhode Island on Saturday at 2:00 on NBCSN.
