The two played a secret scrimmage before the beginning of last season, but this will be the first official meeting between Maryland and George Mason since 2003. The two schools met at the then-called Comcast Center in College Park, Maryland in front of a sellout crowd of 17,950. The Patriots fell to the Terrapins 64-79.
An exact date for this match up has not been released. Stay tuned for more details as more non-conference news slowly leaks during the off-season.

Correction:
The last time Maryland and George Mason played was at the 2012 BB&T Classic, losing 69-62. Maryland and Mason also met at the same tournament in 2004 also resulting in a Maryland victory.
