This is a continuation of a series where I write a brief synopsis of players offered scholarships by George Mason University. In this article, we will discuss Josh Oduro.
Josh Oduro has been given an offer to play college basketball at George Mason University. Josh is a 6’8”, 225 pound power forward who currently plays high-school basketball in Fairfax, Virginia. George Mason has competition for Josh as they are not the only school to offer him a collegiate scholarship. Rice, William & Mary, Columbia, Lafayette, Hampton, James Madison, Loyola (MD), Lafayette, Siena, Marist and Towson have offered Josh to come hoop at their respective schools. George Mason, in this bloggers opinion, has the upper hand as he plays high school basketball in their back yard at Paul VI in Fairfax, Virginia. He holds a 3.0 GPA at the moment. On June 17, 2016, Josh took an unofficial visit to George Mason University. I was unable to find if Josh had visited any other schools (officially or unofficially) but George Mason.
Josh tweets a picture of the university when an he has received an offer. Out of all the scholarship offers, the most interaction comes from the George Mason tweet. George Mason does have 4 young forwards on their team at the moment; 3 sophomores and 1 junior. If Josh accepted the scholarship to play basketball at George Mason, he would have time to learn from an experienced group.
