George Mason has accepted a bid into the College Basketball Inivitational tournament, a pay for play post season tournament.
To start off the tournament, George Mason will face Loyola (Md) in EagleBank Arena. In the 16 team tournament, Mason also shares a quadrant with Costal Carolina and Hampton.
Our orange line revolutionary rivalry friends, George Washington is also in the tournament in a quadrant with UIC and Stony Brook, with Toledo visiting the Colonials in Foggy Bottom.
George Washington and Mason join Richmond, VCU, Dayton, Rhode Island in the post season.
