2017 Power Forward, Goanar Mar, has verbally committed to George Mason University!

The ESPN 4-star recruit has chosen to be a Patriot in the Mason Nation. Goanar had offers from Nebraska, Iowa State, UNI and others. He attends De La Salle High School in Minnesota.

Mar is a strong and athletic power forward. At 6-7 200lbs, he will shake things up and add more depth to the already promising Mason Basketball program under Dave Paulsen. He can go hard in the paint (cue Flocka beat),be a dangerous perimeter shooter and get rebounds on both sides of the court. His defense game will also be a nice addition to the Patriot backcourt.
