George Mason looks to get their second win of the season against undefeated, Oklahoma State. The Cowboys beat Towson, 69-52 in the second Quarter Final game of the tournament. This will be the first meeting between the two schools as Mason looks for an upset. The winner of the game will go onto face Long Beach State or the Wahoos (UVA) in the Final game.

Player(s) To Look Out For:

#31 Chris Oliver
Currently the lead scorer for Oklahoma State at 15 points a game, the transfer from Eastern Illinois will play in an important role in today’s game. In addition to being the lead scorer, he is also the most accurate player on the team with 63% FG. He also averages 5 rebounds a game. At 6-8 230 lbs, Mason may have a hard time defending him.

#22 Jeffrey Newberry
Newberry is the third leading scorer on the team, but is also the leader in rebounds and blocks per game this season. This makes Jeffery a well-rounded player. Like our JUCO transfer, Shevon Thompson, he can score points and get those defensive rebounds to keep his team in the game.

Both Oliver and Newberry have only had two turnovers in three games.

Wild Cards:

#1, Jawan Evans

Jawan had 5 rebounds and 4 assists during his first game with the Cowboys. Evans was heavily recruited by power five schools and is a player that can possibly play a key role coming off the bench.
