Coming off a loss against Colgate, George Mason is on the road until November 28th. Their first stop is down in Macon, Georgia to play Mercer.

The Mercer Bears started off their season with a win against Allen University, a NAIA school from Columbia, SC. Mercer has two senior guards that led them against Allen. Senior Guard Phillip Leonard lead the team with 17 points and 7 rebounds and assists. Jestin Lewis, like Leonard, scored 17 points and was 78% from the free throw line. Mercer is a team that likes to score from inside the paint, making 60 of their 96 points from there. Mason will have to use our size and hopefully force them to score from the outside, which is something they struggle with making only 1 of 13 3pt shots against Allen.
